Just a small town girl from rural Oregon with very big dreams! I recently graduated a semester early from Grand Canyon University Honors College with my B.S. in Biology and an emphasis in Pre-Medicine. Currently, I am enjoying the sunshine in Tempe, Arizona with my puppy while preparing to apply to the 2022 Medical School Application Cycle. My goal is to attend OHSU School of Medicine and specialize in a surgical field. I hope that sharing my experiences with you will help with your unique journey!

Hi my name is Jax, full name Jaxon Avery after my mom's favorite Dr. on Greys Anatomy. I was rescued at 5 months and just recently turned 2! I love to sleep all day everyday and my favorite toy (only one that has lasted) is a mini tire. I am a big baby and will sit on your lap and give all the kisses if given the chance. I am not the biggest fan of swimming but let me at the sprinklers and I'm a happy puppy.

-I like pineapple on my pizza (I know I'm psycho)

-When I was 6 I dislocated my elbow because I pulled back too hard from my uncle
-I listen to opera or Piano Guys when I study
-My favorite flower is and always will be roses. But they have to smell good.
-I learned how to country swing dance from 0 experience in a year
-I love cliff jumping and am always up for a dare devil adventure
-Favorite movie since childhood is The Blindside
